Marguerite Martin is a working agent with a talent for standing out. She specializes in Downtown Tacoma, Washington and the surrounding neighborhoods. In the real estate industry since 2005, Marguerite recently launched MoveToTacoma.com, a neighborhood-focused website with a featured podcast for people interested in moving to Tacoma, WA. Her community marketing website and podcast generated 80 closed transactions in the 2016 calendar year (proof available upon request).
As the first community-focused podcast hosted by a real estate agent, The MoveToTacoma.com Podcast has over 10,000 total downloads (300-500 per episode) and features interviews with local politicians, business leaders, neighbors, and more to help people learn about life in Tacoma. Alyssa is the owner and managing editor of Home Scribe Creative, a business that provides community-focused content marketing strategies for real estate agents. She has provided her top-notch professional services to a variety of businesses large and small, including real estate agents and brokerages from around the country. Alyssa has worked with real estate agents on everything from copywriting and content marketing to social media strategy and real estate branding.
Alyssa is also the founder and managing editor of DearEnglishMajor.com, a popular online resource and community for English majors. Since March 2014, the community has garnered tens of thousands of followers (with 22,000+ Facebook followers!), as well as recognition from several of the nation’s top universities.
