Marguerite was on vacation in Hawaii and hanging out with Erik Hinshaw of Hawaii Life Real Estate, and as agents do, they got talkin’ about real estate.
When Erik moved from California to Hawaii, he didn’t know anyone, didn’t know real estate, and didn’t know much about the area he was living in. Also, it was 2008—so, not a great time to get into real estate. He decided to dive into blogging as a way to learn real estate AND learn about the area he lived in. Long story short, when Erik began his career he started working with homes at a ~$150k price point and now regularly sells multi-million dollar homes… and he attributes it to blogging.
